Happy 3 Year Anniversary To Us, Austin!

It's crazy to think it's been three whole years since I packed up my entire world in one duffle bag and one carry-on and made my way to the airport. Texas was uncharted territory and Austin was something I'd never seen before but my heart was telling me to move....so I did.

Here's what's been happening the past three years for those who are trying to keep track plus those back home who are just nosey. No shame...I see you.

Whiskey Boat Bungalow
WBB was born this year and I'm so glad it was! I transitioned my personal Dreams + Gasoline blog into a unisex blog with Eddie K. Now you can find everything from home decor, DIY projects, dinner ideas, tool reviews, technology posts, etc. on the blog!

We are continuing to grow our brand and have a few opportunities in the works for collaborations in 2019. Fingers crossed this little piece of my heart grows into something everyone enjoys reading!

Loretta The Pointer
She's growing like a weed and has turned into the sweetest adult girl in the whole world. We couldn't imagine our lives without her. She's a ball of energy, has the biggest heart, and loves her backyard! If you wanna know more, follow along on her Instagram HERE

We're ENGAGED!
...and getting married SOON! This has been the highlight of my third year in Austin for sure! I feel so honored to be this man's fiancé and I can't wait until the day when he becomes my husband. We are getting married this winter in downtown Austin...just the two of us. Why? Because that's who we are and what we want. After all, isn't that what it's all about!?

Beechnut Bungalow
It's now been a little over a year since we moved into our house and we are THRILLED with the changes we've made. We still have lots of DIY projects coming and some big transitions in the works.  Stick around because we can't wait to keep showing you our progress along the way!

Travels
This year I've been able to travel to Nashville, back home to Maryville, and most recently Laguna Beach! Additionally, we have our honeymoon coming up and we can't wait to get back to Caye Caulker and spend a few days unplugged on the island!

Whiskey Boat Goods
We are still grinding away and seeing the benefits. Our little business is continuing to grow daily which has allowed me the opportunity to quit my job at The Vintage Round Top and focus more time and energy on marketing for WBG. We are hopeful that this holiday season will be one of our most successful to date!

Here's a few of my favorite posts from this year in Austin!
