Drywall Update!

The last update was about the drywall being installed. Today's blog is to show more photos of the updated progress. Taping and floating has been mostly completely through the house. We are opting for a smooth texture versus the standard orange peel so another layer will be added once this one dry.

And for transparency, I didn't really know what any of this meant. Still kind of don't, but here's something google told me that made some sense.

"Taping and floating refers to the way drywall is finished after it's hung, and is performed in order to solidify the joint between two pieces of drywall so the plaster and paint that eventually go over it won't crack later on."

So, now that we understand the process (ish), here's some progress photos!
