Spring Craft: Thumbprint Fruits

I've already shared our spring bookshelf and spring toys and today I wanted to continue the theme and share a super simple spring craft.

THUMBPRINT FRUITS

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

- Paper (I prefer cardstock)

- Finger Paint for Babies (linking my fave below)

- Pencil

- Sharpie

Scissors

optional: name stamp (linked below)

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1. I put all the paint colors I need on a paper plate for easy access and clean up. I use a small paintbrush to put paint on Jennings's big toe and stamp on the paper.

TIP: Do two sets of the craft. It never fails, I always mess the first one up.

(colors used: yellow, red, orange, green)

2. Wait for paint to dry. For me, this was about an hour.

3. Next, use a pencil to sketch the fruits.

(fruits: cherries, strawberry, pineapple, apple, orange, kiwi)

4. Trace over your pencil marks with Sharpie or black marker.

OPTIONAL STEPS:

- Stamp your child's name on the craft

- Cut out in a fun shape

- Laminate (I'll either showcase in artwork frames linked below or laminate and put in our keepsake box!)
