90's trends are back y'all!
You've seen the chokers all around town for months: 90's babies are pairing them with EVERYTHING and rejoicing that the trend is back on the charts.
I love a good choker, but I'm ready to talk about another 90's trend that is gracing our presence again: distressed denim. And better yet, black distressed denim.
Here's what we know about black denim (just like the 90's):
1. IT'S A LITTLE BIT GRUNGE:
Acid wash black/grey denim was all the rage in the 90's. Simplistic streetwear covered the runways with designers like Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen featuring the hottest trend of the decade.
2. THE MORE DISTRESSED THE BETTER:
Think Gwen Stefani during the peak of her 1997 career. Ripped jeans for dayssssssss.
3. CAN BE DRESSED UP:
Pair your favorite black distressed denim with a dress like I have and take the look from street casual to date night! Mix it up with dressy heels to get an even more glamorous style.
