It's no secret that Eddie K is a DEWALT superfan! Our garage is basically all black and yellow! Here's one of his favorite tools he's purchased and a bit more of a review straight from him!

I have been wanting to start a new DEWALT brushless tool collection. Home Depot made it hard to say no a few weeks ago: buy the circular saw and get the jig saw for free! FREE!! (promotion may no longer be available in your area.)

A couple of things I noticed immediately when comparing to the old 18v I had.
1. The blade is on the right side. I’m interested to see how the offset weight works out.
2. The deck plate is a composite vs a cast metal.
After using it a bit, I'm a big fan of the flexvolt circular saw. This thing cuts through a 4x4 like butter. Before I got my table saw I used it to rip 2x4 with no problems. I highly suggest this for the causal or professional user.
Here's a few photos of the DEWALT jig saw in action.
