Today was a big day! The living room sliding door was finally installed (this item took slightly longer than our windows) and WOW, IT LOOKS SO GOOD.
I've talked about it before, but one of the things we decided right before we broke ground to change was that door. We ended up making it almost double the original size and it was truly a game-changer.
(Shoutout to Eddie for making this choice. Husbands always come in with a curveball that ends up being the perfect decision.)
We looked at several option for this door: traditional slider (which we chose), telescopic sliding door, tri-fold, etc. We finally landed on the traditional slider with no lines in the glass (I'm sure there's a name for these but I have no idea).
It opened up the space nicely and the natural light is just flowing through this room now.
