What's In My Bag:

From the time I was like 14, I've been a "bag-girl." Some girls gravitated towards jewelry; others gravitated towards shoes. Me? PURSES. At one point, I had about 7 plastic storage containers full of designer bags. I had Louis Vuitton, Coach, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, etc. Seriously, the only bag I didn't have was a Birkin. I was purse obsessed.
When I moved to Austin a year and a half ago, I left behind all my beloved bags. I didn't bring a single one. It was an adjustment but I learned to live without one. And now that I've adjusted, I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Bag: Cloth Clutch from Manready Mercantile.
On most days, I carry everything in a clutch. I have two that I currently swap between but my all-time fave is this one from Manready Mercantile, a small store in Houston. I first learned about this store from Eddie K, and now I think I'm as obsessed with it as he is.
It's a simple cloth pouch with no interior or exterior pockets. It's just about as simple as you can get and that's EXACTLY what I love most about it. It's a tan color on the front with a lighter shade on the back. It's classic but cool. I mean look at that denim accent and the red zipper. Seriously, SWOON. I got it a few days after Thanksgiving and in all honesty, I couldn't tell you how much it cost to save my life. Truthfully, I HAD to have it. If it had been $200, I think I would've found a way to justify buying it.
The Wallet: Leather Clutch Wallet from STRUT
My very first purchase when I started working at STRUT. It's almost a clutch all on it's own. If I'm in a hurry or going out and not looking to carry a lot of stuff, it's an easy "grab-and-go" option. But it also happens to be the perfect size for sliding down in this clutch.

The Sunnies: Ray-Ban Aviators
At one point in time, I had 6 pair of Ray-Ban's in my possession. Now, I have two. (Who even knows where the rest are at this point.) Today, I had my Aviator Havana Collection in Gold tucked into my bag just in case Texas decided to be sunny. (It rained unfortunately. No such luck on the sunshine thing.)

The Journal: Leather + Cotton Journal from Nkuku
This is BY FAR my biggest obsession in life these days. Whenever Eddie K traveled to the UK in November, he came back with a selection of goodies for me. One of which happened to be this Nkuku leather notepad. He knows me better than anyone in the world and that's what made this gift so special. I like the "old-school" things in life. I still like to use pen and paper when taking notes or making to-do lists. I use this notebook every single day.
This leather Nkuku notebook is handmade using traditional English methods. The leather is dyed using tree bark and vegetable oil and the paper happens to be recycled cotton. It's 100% natural!

The "Extras":
- Burt's Bees Chapstick: Cold/windy weather. Need I say more?
- Iphone: Award for "item I can't live without" goes to....
- Polaroids: Let's face it, I have a polaroid obsession.
- Business Cards
- Business Card Tool: screwdriver, money-clip, etc.
- Leather Business Card Holder
