Summer is All About Apricot Lane

I recently fell in love with the boutique chain Apricot Lane. They are totally up my alley. Inexpensive but quality pieces that fit like a glove. Is there anything better??

I'll say this, they got me in a white dress which I never thought would happen. Maybe it's the newly engaged in me or maybe it's because this dress is just too cute to take off. Who knows! All I can say, is it's one of the cutest and most comfortable dresses I've ever worn.

Summers in Texas are miserably hot. With that being said, I've become quite the material snob. If the material it's made from isn't light and breathable, I'm out. No one wants to sweat all day! This dress is light and breezy but made of a material that is thick enough so it's not completely see-through.

Another thing to note, this dress doesn't wrinkle! It must be magic because even after sitting down for shots, no wrinkles to be seen. With that being said, this is the perfect dress to wear to the office during the day with sandals and then throw on some heels in the afternoon for drinks with friends!

I wore this dress on an all-day shoot in Round Top, Texas and felt comfortable and relaxed (but polished!) the entire time. If you are looking for timeless and classic pieces on a budget, look no further!

Paired with simple gold jewelry (bracelet is found HERE from Giles & Brothers ; custom engagement ring from Everett NYC), this dress really did all the talking on it's own.
So simple but so perfect for summer.
